Merry Christmas Everyone!

Just a little note to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. Our thoughts are with our family and friends this season. We're loving life right now with our little bundles of energy. They bring us so much happiness. We hope all is well with everyone. We love you!

Is she really mine?

Did someone switch babies on me? She looks nothing like me. What's that all about? She 's a little chunker. Getting cuter every single day. Just like her daddy. They're practically twins.

"Happy Halloween?" How about "My kids hate Halloween!"

My kids are terrified of Halloween (thanks to Mike) so going to each house was quite a task. Who doesn't like costumes and candy? I kept yelling "You're ruining Halloween for m . . . . . . . . . . . . . FOR YOU!!" I still love Halloween. I have to realize it's not for me anymore. It stinks that they didn't want to do a lot of door to door stuff (I made them anyway . . . that candy lasts me til Christmas!) Anyhoo, they looked so cute. We even sprayed Zoe's hair black. She tripped out on that.

My Amelia!

She's such a sweetheart!

New pics!

She's getting so big now. This isn't even that recent. I haven't uploaded all her new pics yet. Just wait.
This is us at Dall's baptism. It was so awesome. Doesn't my Dall look precious?

Amelia Jane Peralta

Well, she's here! She was born on Aug. 15th at 7:56 a.m. by c-section. She weighed 7 lb. 5 oz. and 20 and 3/4 in. long. The bad news is that she has been in the N.I.C.U. since she was born. I don't have time to go into details right now, but there were breathing problems, apnea problems, and infection problems. She is improving little by little. I have been spending most my time in the NICU everyday for her feedings. It's been extremely hard since I'm still trying to recover. I got out of the hospital on Monday the 18th. Things are going ok with me, I'm still in a deal of pain, so I'm trying to make sure I don't over do it. The doctor seems hopeful that we will be able to take her home this coming Sunday. We are crossing our fingers that our family will be all together again. Thanks for all the support, love and prayers. We appreciate everything. Continue to keep us in your prayers. We love you all . I gotta go back to the NICU right now. Take care. I'll post more when she's home.

P.S. She's all Mike!

Is that halloween picture funny or what?

I'm still here!

I haven't been blogging a lot because I'm lazy! I'll start blogging again after the baby when I'm not fat or bloated. That's the plan, Stan! Don't give up on me!

Happy Birthday Angelina!

My niece, Angelina, had her big Sweet 16 party. It was really fun. This is Mike and his sisters (we were missing one). The cousins all had a blast. So did dad and Zoe on the dance floor.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!

Yes people, I gave into peer pressure and found out. (Actually, Mike wanted to find out) so anyhoo, that's the news. She's very active. She throws a little party in my stomach almost every night at around 2:00 a.m.
It's not like I can turn down the invitation, so I'm pretty much screwed when it comes to sleep. I should charge her rent. Her allowance will go straight back to me when she's older. Backpay! I like the idea. Anyway, love you all.

Out and About!

We took the kids to the California Science Center and Aerospace Museum downtown and they loved it. They have really cool things there. The other great thing is that it's free. This is Zoe climbing the rock wall there. Look at my baby go!

Then we took them to them to the Skirball Center to see the brand new Noah's Ark exhibit. This place seriously rocks. All the animals are made out of recycled products. it was so much fun to try to figure out what everything was made out of. A lot of the animals we were second guessing because we couldn't figure out what they were made of until we looked close up. The best part was that the kids can touch everything! It's all hands-on. They had this kiwi bird made out of a boxing glove, an oil can and all different kinds of things. It was cool. They had all these things for the kids to do inside the ark, I can't even begin to tell you.

The kids loved putting the animals on two by two. You could place them on and use a rope pulley to make them go up the ramp and onto the ark. (This was Dall's favorite. He spent most of the time at this section.)

Guilty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally guilty. I am a slacker. I so haven't been blogging in forever. Since early January. Sorry! So, Mike and I are expecting our third baby. I don't know exactly how far along I am right now. I have never been good with the whole "weeks" thing. Let's say the ballpark of 4 months or so. I'll update it after my next appt. Moving on, early pregnancy sucked and January to early March was a complete fog. I practically lived like a hermit. But, I have seen a light at the end of the tunnel. I have come out of hiding and am back amongst the living. So anyway, Mike and I are so excited and can't wait to see our new one. This is unfortunately our last one, not by choice of course, just due to medical complications, so we are trying to love every minute of it.

March has been busy. My sister Becky came out for a week and we have been doing tons of stuff. I tried to do as much as I could during Spring Break for the kids because they haven't had a real mother for a couple of months. I haven't been that pleasant with the pregnancy sickness. I wouldn't be surprised if I found little replica voodoo dolls of me in their rooms somewhere, poking me with needles. It's sad! But I'm back!

Enchanted!

Dall, Zoe and I got tickets to go to Enchanted at the El Capitan theatre. I was totally sick so Grandma went instead. I was a little bitter, of course. Here's my interpretation of how things went down.

Dall: This movie better start. I'm getting delirious.
Zoe: Popcorn . . check, soda. . . check! Let's do this!
Grandma: . . . . . .Give me strength.

Zoe: This is so not a glamorous pose, but whatever, I'll amuse her!

Zoe: I should really show these broads how to pose like a real princess . . . .Amateurs!

Dall: This princess stuff is crap! . . . . . Oh look, video games!

Zoe: Something feels so right about this.
