Happy Birthday Zoe!

Zoe was a lucky girl this year. She got to take her cousin and her best friend to Build-a Bear and she also got a trip to Disneyland.

She was a little nervous to meet Jazmine!

Here they are waiting for the parade.

This is us after 2 hours of waiting for that flippin' parade.

This is Zoe's face as the Stepmother and ugly stepsisters are making their way down the parade.

This is the new castle all decorated for Christmas, isn't it pretty?

Trojans Suck!

I'm psyched for the big game on Saturday! GO BRUINS!

Thanksgiving . . . . . . Who needs it?

(This is a pic of the kind of scorpion that stung me.) Sick, huh?

Ok, so Thanksgiving was a nightmare. We went to Arizona for the week and the night we got there, I was stung by a scorpion in our hotel room. Totally random! I was cold, so I went to put something on and the freakin' scorpion was hiding in my sweatshirt when I put it on, and it got me twice on my inner arm. It hurt like a &%*@%$ $*#$&@% . We had to go to the E.R. and I couldn't even walk because it affected my muscular system. The next day my body swelled up and it looked like I was punched in the face. After a couple of days, I was able to walk properly, so we went to this really cool place called Rawhide and it's like this really cool western ghost town with tons of stuff to do for kids. We were having a great time, (that should have tipped me off) until Dall started vomiting like a banshee. It was the night before Thanksgiving. Perfect, right? Then the next morning, Zoe starts in on the whole stomach bug deal which was great (as you can see by the picture below.) Then right before we go to my cousin's to eat, my nephew splits his upper chin open and has to go to the hospital. Mike and I take turns going to my cousin's to eat because someone had to stay with the kids. Mike and I decided we had enough and left that Friday morning. Dall was still sick on the way home so he had a little accident in the car. It was a beautiful thing. P.S. We're no longer celebrating Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Time

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. The kids went on the kiddie rides and has a blast. Mike kept telling the kids that they had to go in the haunted corn maze. As you can probably tell by Zoe's face, that didn't go over too well. She pretty much had a meltdown. Thanks Mike, you're a peach. (By peach I mean. . . . . . .dufus!)

Cute P & P on-set movie pic

I love this picture. Look what you've done to me Meliss. I've been reduced to posting him on my blog page. The Darcy fever should die down in a few days or so. No more P & P lit anymore. Understand?

Hellooooo Darcy!

Ok, I love this picture. Seriously, I can stare at it all day. I've got Darcy fever right now.

"All babies are adorable?" . . . . Don't believe the hype!

Here's one for flashback Friday. Sure, I have some good baby photos, but it's rare that I could actually find one, so here's me in all my glory. (I look like a crack baby) but hey, we all have those pics, right? Oh. . . . . . you don't? Crap!

Zoe Peralta = Karma

This is my "annoyed" pose.

Here's a good one! Ok, so we all know Zoe is drama. Well the apple doesn't fall far. My mom attempted to do a kids christmas pic. Everyone was smiling normal but apparently we never got a good shot because I was too busy trying out different poses. My brother said he was going through some old pics and said he couldn't find one single picture where I looked normal. They were all crazy faces. He actually showed me the proof and I couldn't believe what a freak I was. Fa-reak! So now, I get to experience the magic that is Zoe.

(This is my "this is supposed to be fun" pose.)

Look at little Mikey!

Ok, here's a little somethin' for flashback Friday. Does he look like either of the kids? I think there's a little Zoe in there somewhere. Isn't he cute?

Calling all Austen buffs. . . . . . . . .

For all you Jane Austen romantics out there, this book is great. I totally loved it! You kind of need to be well versed in all your Austen movies or you might not get certain parts. I highly recommend for a completely fun read!

My Lisa Frank Character

She has my hips! I totally identify with that.

P.S. Valerie: Mine's the coolest.

Getty Museum

The kids got to sketch a couple of sculptures in the art center and they loved it. How cool is that? We had so much fun that day. Dallin got to see Van Gogh's Irises and he was completely amped up for the rest of the afternoon (although the sketching was his favorite part.) Zoe liked the sketching also (only because she thought she looked good doing it.)

I am Marianne Dashwood!

I love Marianne. I would have liked to be Lizzy, but this fits too.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre

I am a huge Charlton Heston fan. Back in the day, he was a major hottie. (Hello. . . . . Ben Hur?) He was hot!

Mike and I at Vert restaurant.

Off to Hollywood!

My brother came to town and we had an opportunity to do a tasting menu at a Wolgang Puck restaurant in Hollywood that a friend works at. Unbelievable! We got spoiled. The food was to die for. Course after course. It was fine dining at it's best.

OK, I have some serious issues. I am obsessed with the Twilight trilogy. I don't know if I can wait for the next one. I might have to see a therapist about this. I actually go in the Forks, WA website just to check the weather, because I think these people are real. Is that insane? "It's just a book" is my new mantra these days. My husband thinks I'm a psycho. I came home one night after searching the bookstore for the next best thing and got depressed because the bar is set so high now, that nothing compares. This is not good. Anyhoo, I did buy a new book which happens to be a trilogy. It's called "A Great and Terrible Beauty." I'll read and let you know if it's good.

P.S. This is so funny. I was reading the last 4 chapters of Eclipse on the couch. All of the sudden, my husband comes over to me and touches my face and then he kissed me and his lips were ice cold (like my beloved Edward) and I was shocked. He said " What's wrong, I thought you'd love that!" I said " I do, but . . . . . . . . . . I'm kind of with Edward right now, sorry. Can you try that again as soon as I'm done?" Poor guy, he thought he struck gold, but I couldn't just stop reading at that point. I know, I'm evil. (I bet you're kind of jealous though, right? Come on, admit it.) I can thank Cheryal for that. She tipped him off about the vampire deal. Kudos to Cheryal.

This is my Edward. Ok, this is the worst pic because I was out of color toner so I will replace this pic soon. His eyes are the best ever (when the pic is better, you'll see). Give him some copper highlights combined with his "butterscotch" colored eyes, and it's all a go! My Edward.

We went to The Reagan Library with my aunt and uncle from AZ and had a great time. That's my 2nd trip there. I love it! This is a pic of them in front of a piece of the Berlin wall. Watching all that historic footage still amazes me. How fortunate are we to live here in this country. Seriously! Anyhoo, if you ever have a chance to go there, totally do it! It's worth it. Reagan was such an awesome man. If you don't agree . . . . . . . . . . . .eat me! He was the man.

This was the pic on Dall's invitation. I told him to look scared. Close . . . . but not quite!Unfortunately I haven't passed down my acting skills to him. Zoe got all of those. Sorry Dall, no Oscar this year.

Can someone tell Dall that he is supposed to swing towards the pinata? I don't think he gets that .
He's too precious.

Dall's 7th Birthday

Ok, I made this cake and it looks like a big pile of dog crap, but that's on purpose, I swear! It is a "bug mountain cake". It truly looked real. I had to pat myself on the back for that one. It tasted crazy good, too! I had to use 3 tubs of frosting to mold everything together. Mmmmmm. . . . . . good! Dall is obsessed with insects, so we had to have a bug party.

They look pretty sweet, don't they? Hey, I can dream, right?
